About WWU Queer Con

QueerCon is an annual LGBTQ+ comics and media fan convention at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA.  This year, Queer Con 2020 will be online via Gather on Saturday, October 17th from 10 AM – 5 PM (PST).

Who are we?

QueerCon is organized by a group of dedicated queer people who want to create a space to celebrate queer and LGBT+ identity, creativity, and community. The goal for WWU QueerCon is to provide an opportunity to highlight queer stories and creators in an inclusive and friendly space and strengthen the queer and LGBT+ community at WWU and the greater Bellingham area. The people behind this event strive to ensure that it is family-friendly and accessible to anyone who may want to join the fun.

WWU QueerCon features professional and student creators and vendors, offering all sorts of queer and geek related items, as well as panels focusing on queer stories, experiences, and other LGBTQ+ topics.

Location and Time

This year, WWU QueerCon Con will be a single-day event on October 17th, 2020 that will be taking place ONLINE via Gather and will run from 10 AM to 5 PM (PST).
