WWU QueerCon is a student-run event at Western Washington University.  Donations to us through WWU are tax-deductible AND you’ll have our never-ending love!  We fundraise outside of the Viking Union building leading up to the event and keep a crowdfunding campaign open as well.  All donations and proceeds fund the event and future events: the greater our funding the more special events we can offer and the more we can confidently plan ahead!

Why donate to QueerCon?

We want to ensure that there are no barriers for independent artists, students, and nonprofits to present their work at our event.  Even small donations help offset our set-up costs, and thanks to your generosity we were able to waive the fee for nonprofits and independent artists to table this year!

Larger contributions help us to bring in guest speakers and artists and cover screening fees and honoraria.  This year, we were able to invite the creators of Fire and Flood queer eco justice documentary for a film screening and Q&A.  Looking forward to the future: Help us directly support queer and intersectional creators and help make the event even more awesome!
