Man of Steel
I change the my movie from “Stars War” to “Man of Steel.”
The movie I’m going to talks about in this article is “Man of Steel” I watched this movie one month ago, and I love this movie so much, so that’s why I want to write a blog entry for this movie.
In distant reaches of the universe, with the destruction of Krypton, Superman saga kicked off Jo Al Gore against the Kryptonian General Zod’s evil plan adventure will be a newborn son of Karl Ai, was sent to the Milky Way line on the other side of the earth. Carle landed in Kansas in a small town, he became Jonathan Kent and Martha’s son and named Clark. In 19:05, the planet is going to be destroyed and the Mom of the Superman she standing in the middle of the camera angles. She wants to die because her husband dies and her son will have new life. And the camera angles is focusing on her too. This camera angles can tell the audience about her mood, relax and no feeling.
23:48 after Superman was angry about his classmate, he seating in a small room and all the students and teacher are out, he feels sad that all the people trade him like a monster, this camera angles focusing on his eye and shows how angry he is, this camera angles outstanding his anger from his eye.
In 30:48, light come from the back of superman’s hands because his daddy is giving him the key to the secret, it’s mean the new hope is coming and Superman can finally know where is he comes from.
In the first 30 mins, most of the camera angles describe how does; Superman grows up with what kind of challenge, and challenge makes it stronger and stronger. Most of the time this movie give us a feeling that Superman should have strong, but the true is not, most of the camera angles in the first 30 mins telling the audience the process how does Superman conquer himself. And grow up to be a true hero.
The director did use a lot of lighting in this movie for example in 30:48, 19:05 and 17:28,
Lighting works very importantly in this movie, Superman should be very majesty, and the director did make the Superman look Majesty by lighting.
In 50:57 mins, lighting comes from right side of the camera angles on superman’s face, I think the reason why the director make this camera angles is that he want to let the audience know that at this moment, the “new” Superman is coming and that means he just reborn.
After 60 mins of the movie most of them are just fighting, but in 2:11:03 at the end of the movie the color of the camera getting warmer. As the book said: “warmer color shows love in the file.”
According to this movie, a lot of people would say that Superman’s father in the behavior of plagiarism “Spider-Man” among the uncle Bain, personally think that is not the case. First, from the old Kent know the true ability of children, he tried to give Superman an ordinary family love in contradiction, and uncle Bain to death do not know Peter Parker’s differences, this is the biggest difference. Secondly, the old Kent teachings are always tolerant and patient; he tried to let the children understand that power can be used only in the right place, can become the kind of person, but does not depend on the power of thought, this is a valuable point of the film.
