Welcome to our project!

We’re Gwen and Carrin, two soon to be graduates of Western Washington University. This summer our goal is to road trip across the US, while living zero waste on the road and meeting other people who live zero waste along the way. We will be sharing this journey at the end of the summer through a series of short episodes highlighting each community we visit. Our mission is to make the zero waste movement more accessible and inclusive. Many popular zero waste bloggers that represent the movement are white females, and as white females we’d like to recognize the privileges that we have that make this lifestyle choice easier. We’re determined to help break down these barriers so that anyone can work toward reducing the amount of waste they produce.
