The year was 2011. Podcasting (or Net-casting) was finally getting a little bit more noticed by mainstream as the iPhone and the iPad was making it easier for people to access and get shows. Lummi Nation Podcast Radio (LNPR) was created to supplement the monthly newspaper and provide the Lummi community was a show that mixed culture, entertainment and news. It was a simple production, two mics with usually two hosts; just having a goofy time and talk about what was going in the community. Spin off shows came off of this like a dedicated show for Lummi Nation Police Department called “LNPR: BOLO report” and “LNPR Language Language.”
