Making a budget studio? What if you needed to do a video for a vlog, but can’t remember a script? Consider taking that iPad (or iPhone) that you have and making it into a DIY teleprompter.

Apple Pages (iOS)

Using the iOS version of Apple Pages, in the top right of your pages document select More > Presenter Mode.  The font will enlarge, your text color will inverse (white on black) and your line spicing will increase for readability.

Once you have that enabled, go back up to the top right of your screen with the Aa icon and select auto scroll, and your text will begin to roll up just like a teleprompter. If you have a tripod mount (or cold shoe mount for your camera) for your iOS device, you can easily attach this above or along side of your recording setup.
