Methods to Research

Our method of research includes surveys consisting of questions directing to students of ages from 18 to 26 years old. The rest of our data applied comes from archives and articles from trusted scholars. In addition, the online questionnaire has multiple qualitative and quantitative questions to give us the feedback necessary to accurately answer our research question. In other words, our questions go over the opinions of the people taking our survey and with the quantity of the people taking our survey we will be able to generate more accurate data to input into the theories of our research question. When creating the questionnaire, we did our best to acknowledge the desired outcome.

Resources of the methodology include my partner and I creating the questionnaire through the accessibility of Google Docs and its help of sending our survey directly to social media platforms where we can receive the most responses. The people taking our survey is only accessible by our friends, so this is how the age is calibrated from around 18 to 26 years old. Our survey covers questions on social media relationships along with parasocial relationships and is about 10 questions long, so our survey-takers are more compliable to taking the survey with meaningful responses.
