In my representation of my identity I chose to depict the perception of my appearance. Whether its from societies point of view or my own, beauty and attraction is based on everyone’s personal perception of the world. I represented this through a a waved distortion of my features stretching and exaggerating my face. I look at this portion of my identity as an obstacle, I work everyday to remind myself that my face and appearance does not define me. Yet, at this point in time my thoughts about what others think of my face and body has become apart of my identity.
