I made this piece by digitally collaging a picture I took trying to capture the beauty in a crack in the concrete outside my apartment as the sun hit it and a doodle I did in pencil on some sticky notes. The sticky notes are similar to color field painting, and the arrows and symbols were more of a free-form, on-the-spot thing similar to action painting in that I just let it flow from within.
