This black and white photo of a cliff near Deception’s Pass was inspired by those of Aaron Siskind. I like the contrast between the different rock types and that the rock bedding, how it was formed, is obvious in vertical slabs. These rocks were formed on the sea floor as ocean crust and a geological event caused them to turn on their side and rise up out of the ocean.
