This piece was inspired by Aaron Siskind’s black and white photography. I had gone strolling down the Boulevard docks this past week, and in reflection of the sunset I had witnessed, I wondered about those who stood before me in the exact location to witness the same beautiful sunset I got to witness. I find it amazing that you don’t need chromatic colors in this photograph to distinguish where the light source is coming from and how its luminating the sky and water in reflection/radiance from it.
