For this piece, I chose to focus on my identity as an identical twin. I used a picture of my twin and I as newborns and overlayed outlines of each other onto ourselves. When I think about who I am, I find it important to acknowledge that I began at an identical place to another person, something not many people can say. In a way, this makes me feel unique, and while both my twin and I have diverged into two very distinct identities, we’ve certainly had a large impact on each other and who we have become.
What a grand idea! I feel some interesting thoughts from this because our identity can be pushed so many ways for its overall self but this shows almost two identity’s in one from two beings! This really got me thinking! Especially since you have the same genetic make up of someone else!
