I chose this photo because I think it definitely is representative of who I am in a photograph. My friend took this photo of me as we were exploring downtown Bellingham. I think my hat and glasses add to my sense of style and contribute nicely to the overall picture. I also think the gerbil in the background is contrasts well with my white jacket. I loved how she captured this photo right in front of the gerbil, it adds a fun element! This picture was taken after the pandemic and I think symbolizes a new light to look forward to after a couple dark years.
