During the pandemic, it allowed me to focus more on the hobbies that I love like photography. I was able to spend a lot more time creating and planning out photographs because we had all the time in the world. Because of this, it shaped my identity to allow me to explore different types of photography which in the end helped me express myself and be able to share the little moments in life that others sometimes miss. In the background I have 4 small cropped pictures, all of which hold meaning to me. The first one on the left is a picture from my home and it was taken on a day that holds a lot of meaning to me. The one right next to it is a picture of my dog who has also helped me get out more during covid and find new hobbies like hiking. And the last two pictures are ones I took during the pandemic which were awarded with 1st place in an art competition, they mean a lot to me because my photography teacher in high school always told me to keep my hopes high because she believed my work was great.
