This picture was taken three years ago, right before the pandemic. This photo was taken by my friend when I was taking a photo of her. This kind of photo is quite similar to the condition when we all wear masks during the pandemic. We don’t know what each other looks like. This picture can show a similar view of how I look in front of others wearing a mask. I was a person that would feel shy to talk to someone that I was not familiar with. But after the pandemic, the mask made me more confident because I could hide under it. I have started to become an optimistic person, and I like to talk to others. I then learned to shape myself to have a positive and energetic image throughout these three years because I knew I couldn’t hide under a mask forever. I am now more confident about being with different people, even without a mask to cover myself, and I feel like I’m a new me.
