This is a sample of manipulated audio, recorded using a digital camera in the year 2010. It’s a middle school band concert. I originally used this recording in a short film called Chickens, which dealt with themes of childhood, memory, and secrecy. The audio in this form has been manipulated to create a hollow, earthy quality. I hope it invokes a powerful nostalgia for band concerts, playgrounds, school functions, and being young and stupid.

Wow, these swings remind me my childhood memories and games. I really love swings and enjoy their ride with my family. Childhood is the most enjoyable time and unfortunately never come back.
