I chose to record ambient sounds on a trail just outside of downtown Bellingham. This captured both sounds of birds chirping and cars driving by. I felt that these two sounds sort of juxtaposed each other, with the birds representing the natural world and the cars representing the industrialized world, two separate points in time in a way. Toward the end of the recording I faintly picked up the sound of a clock tower, which I felt further emphasized the time theme.
