My project is in relation to the recent controversy surrounding Bud Light supporting a transgender model. I have made an artist’s rendition of the transgender pride flag, with a conservative twist, playing their words against them. The blue stripes are made of bud light cans to refer the event that has caused controversy, the pink stripes are derived of skin tones that I then rendered pink to fit into the colors of the trans flag, and the skin tones represent transpeople being people, then the white stripe reading “we the people” which is a play on words from the constitution but the combination of everything is meant to give off the message that transgender people are still people and they are here to stay.
