This project is about the dichotomy of the drag ban and the lack thereof on guns. The ban on drag is a recent Tennessee bill that bans public drag to ‘protect the children’, and I wanted to show how the real thing that is killing our kids in guns. I did this by doing a still life of makeup and a gun, one easily being more dangerous and deadly to children than the other.
