This piece represents a hospital window at the end of someone’s life. I chose to paint an abstract landscape with some elements of children’s drawings. Where do you hope to die? Thousands of Americans die surrounded by medical equipment and doctors inside a hospital yearly. The importance of allowing someone to experience the transition from life to death where they see fit for themselves is extreme.
