For my project, I created this poster that would ideally hang in a public space, intended to comment on the 2023 WGA Writer’s Strike and the increasing use of AI technology to complete jobs in the creative field typically done by writers, artists, and creatives. It’s intended to challenge our thinking about the worth of AI, and whether it can replace a human touch and understanding. The $8 on the poster are meant to represent one screenwriters story of receiving an $8 residual check for writing a television show.
