This is a picture of me as a child showing an insect that I found to my brother, and a recent picture of an insect in my collection. During pandemic especially, I rediscovered how much curiosity I had for life around me, and decided to go back to college to pursue biology. Sometimes I feel like a kid again in school, looking at bugs under microscopes and learning about their life cycles. Curiosity will always be a big part of how I see myself, and I am working now to make it a part of my identity by pursuing science as a career. In my life, the way I see myself is stagnant while the way I am in the world is constantly changing, giving me some power to choose my identity.
