My identity in relation to others is limited to my outward appearance; this is the me that others see and know. Thus, in “Eye See,” the viewer can percieve my eyes clearly, but as I delve into deeper aspects of myself–personal artwork, relationships, and parts of my identity–they are blurred to prevent the viewer from knowing me well. This is meant to reflect our relationships to the people around us, and how little we know them. For “Eye See,” the viewer will never know my identity as well as I know it.
