A Blur of Gloomy Pictures – Studio Project: Identity Reconfigured
My hybrid self-portrait shows a multitude of gloomy pictures i’ve taken recently stacked on top of each other with a picture of myself layered over. All underlayered photos are alike in the mood they portray, the blur and low-quality nature of each photo, the relevance of the moments I captured through these photographs. Even though the layering and quality of the selfie I took isn’t as i’d hoped it look over the images, the general picture still captures the melancholic and almost nostalgic feeling I get from dusk and the subsequent twilight hours of night — when all is dark, but the sillouettes of treelines still remain and all I can seem to capture are blurry pictures.
