When faced with the question of my identity, I only think of one thing: Art! I love painting portraits and have completed multiple self-portraits during my time at Western so far. For this project I wanted to find a new way to represent the idea of a painted self-portrait. With this in mind, I decided to try to turn my “self” into a “portrait” using watercolors to portray my identity as an artist.
