I want this work to elicit feelings of doubt in the audience, I want them to question their perceptions of what is going on in the fashion industry. Through the use of headlines/newspaper cut outs I want the viewer to acknowledge theres alot going on in the world, but this isn’t neccessarily an excuse to overlook such an important issue. The enlarged frame over the top of the news background is to give the impression of a comic-strip in a newspaper, through ‘dark-comedy’ I hope to elicit a response from the audience.
