Using heat-shrinking plastic I created a sort of charm which connects a representation of a face mask with the germs it is intended to protect us from. I wanted to create a piece that would remind people who see it that wearing a face mask in public settings can still protect us. That the threat of COVID is not truly gone, and neither is the danger of the disease, but masking up in large crowds is the right thing to do.
