With my piece, I chose to show the good and bad aspects of AI. I decided to keep some of the headlines that I found when I was researching for this project because they some of them were so extreme it sounded like something out of a sci-fi movie and others reassured me that there is still good to come from AI. I used AI generated images from Microsoft Copilot, as a way to put a more meta response to my topic within my project. I used the masks on the left to represent the good aspects because when I was going research, most of the ‘good’ came from medical advances. I burned the right side of the piece to represent the bad aspects to tie it back to AI’s carbon footprint. I was surprised to learn how much energy AI is actually using and how bad it is for the environment.

Some alexa internet reviews highlight convenience, while others raise privacy concerns. As AI evolves, balancing innovation with ethical considerations remains crucial for a sustainable future.
