This drawing was created with alcohol-based markers and inks. I wanted to incorporate a young child pushing a cart full of plastic food. Moreover, the child and the shopping cart contrast with the dark and empty grocery store. I wanted to portray a piece that represents food insecurity within Ukraine. Furthermore, my goal for this project is to encourage people to be aware of the children growing up in global food crises.
