With this piece (most inspired by Barbara Kruger), I intended to make commentary on the destructive nature of fast fashion and my concern with its current (and projected) growth. I aspired to create a chaotic visual symphony representing the wastefulness of excess buying in addition to criticism of online advertising (using clothes, trash, cords, a phone, and advertisement cutouts). I ultimately digitally formatted my project to look like a magazine advertisement to add a layer of irony and sensationalism.
