I wanted to do this artwork so that I can raise more awareness about coastal erosion especially in California. California’s coast is threatened by rising sea levels and storms and community action is needed with land practices that are sustainable along with management plans for the coast. The artwork itself literally depicts the coast eroding and the pixels fading away.
