According to K-12Dive.com, in 2023, 227 children lost their lives due to gun violence at a school. I used 227 crayons and hot glue to create a sculpture of an AR-15. I tried to only use materials that could be found in a typical classroom to make this piece to further get the point across that each of these crayons represent a child’s life that was taken away due to gun violence.
