I chose to make my project in the style of murals constructed around Belfast and Derry, Northern Ireland. Made from a mixed media of spray paint, construction paper, and ink, this project is meant to symbolize the diverse ranges of beliefs and mediums persisting in Northern Ireland, while commenting on the conflict of such beliefs. I chose to focus on the ‘troubles’ of Northern Ireland as it is a very prominent topic for my family, this is because both of my parents immigrated to America to avoid the conflict.
