My project is a collage composed of different magazine cutouts related to the war in Gaza and the MET gala. In the center of my collage, I depicted a “bubble” that represents the societal cocoon we have created to insulate ourselves from the harsh realities and atrocities occurring around the world, specifically in places like Gaza. The outside of my collage is representative of the chaos that is happening in Gaza currently and how celebrities care more to donate to fashion institutes instead of people who are in need or dying.
