Robot Sitting Down is a piece which intends to habituate the viewer to a common sound of the near future. The sound is jarring, and alarms the senses. When accompanied by this picture of a robot, one might be set at ease to know there is no immediate threat. The discomfort this sound invokes is but an illusion of evolution. Hold back thy fearful ape brain, and allow Mr. Robot some rest!
