This piece was made with acrylic paint, gesso, and pen. The colors are rich and of neutral tones, the lines of the body soft with deep shading and light contrast. I have created this piece to bring light to the climate issues. The pills illustrate the future health risks that being exposed to chemicals and gasses can bring. While being medicated there is plastic coming out of their back that looks like it is a part of their body but they are trying to get free of it. I hope to remind people that climate change has long lasting effects on not only the environment but your body and health as well.
