I compiled several soundbites of the sounds I encountered during a walk by Bellingham Bay. I decided to explore these sounds because they were recorded during a common activity that I often engage in. Typically, I am distracted by my phone and music, neglecting to appreciate the natural sounds of the world during my walks. In the soundbites, you can hear birds chirping, seagulls squawking, my footsteps, waves crashing against rocks, and the train passing by.
