For my studio project I chose to comment on the war in Gaza. Recently on May 6th, 2024, the Met Gala was televised and watched by Americans across the country. While people were flaunting their fashion paying thousands of dollars to attend for one night, people on the other side were dying and struggling to survive. I decided to represent tha by drawing a beautiful dress with the imagery of war embedded into it.
