I have been an athlete my entire life and competing has always been my favorite part of any sport. This soundscape is from one of my best national competitions. Hearing the sound of any competition makes me feel excited and motivated as all the memories and feelings of adrenaline, success, and hard work rush back to me. The sound of my coach and teammates cheering me on, the beep indicating I have 30 seconds left, and the announcer narrating the outcome of my performance can either create some of the most rewarding or devasting moments in an athletic career.
