Linens expresses my feelings, fears, and concerns surrounding the passed anti-abortion laws in the United States. I created this piece using black multimedium paper, white charcoal, and red acrylic paint. I wanted this piece to embody some of the fear I feel surrounding the threats to women’s rights. My bodily autonomy is in jeopardy, and I refuse to let it be taken away by anyone, especially a man.
