Domestic violence is a pervasive issue that affects individuals and families across the United States. An average of 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the U.S. This equates to more than 10 million men and women annually experiencing domestic violence. By understanding the prevalence of this problem and advocating for change at individual, community, and systemic levels, we can work towards creating a future free from domestic violence in the United States.
