I live far from home- Saigon, Vietnam. As we know from me being enrolled in this class, I live and go to school in Bellingham, almost 8000 miles away from home. Even though I’m far away, there are moments when I long for the tranquility and ambience of my hometown, which usually consists of the sounds of motorbikes, street vendors, relatives and neighbors conversing, electric fans, etc. I thought I would record a little audio of what it usually sounds like when I am home for the summer. Saigon is never really silent, but I feel most at home when there are these nostalgic background ambiances.
