This is a photo of a small carving I made looking in a mirror resting on pill bottles with push pins stuck inside it, it is “trapped” by a piece of paper held up my own hand.
this photo shows how i feel trapped inside a prison even though I am the one holding myself there, it would be very easy to break out but I chose to stay and the longer I stay the more hurt I become. the heavy distortion of the image gives a harsher feeling and the blue tint mirrors the sky.
