The themes of memory and time inspired me to go back to my own childhood, when books were one of the first interactions with art that I experienced and bring up nostalgia for me. The various scrapes and sounds you can get from just thumbing through a book perfectly encapsulates this emotion to me, bringing me back to a time when I would be falling asleep to those sounds as one of my parents would read me a bedtime story. In this soundscape I chose an emotionally important book for me, and explored the various sounds I could achieve through flipping through the book and touching the pages.
