I choose to embroider the phrase “my body is not your policy” with the female reproductive system (not a cow face or a robot i swear) as my project to go with the article I read about more cases about abortion going to the supreme court. I don’t believe woman’s bodies should even be brought up in court nor any laws about them because it’s honestly not anyone’s business. My rights over my own body shouldn’t be a political statement it’s just basic human rights. I chose to do embroidery as it’s historically been a women’s medium and has been used for empowerment and social change.
