This piece is a response to the 2024 election and the viral “Women are property” sign posted outside Texas State University the day after. I wanted to utilize the soft feminine style of art nouveau and the word “bitch” to create contrast while simultaneously highlighting where the word came from. I also incorporated symbols associated with women and reproductive health care.
