This work was made by printing out a photo that I took of a glacier in Alaska and then using paint markers to indicate what the glacier might look like if the rise in the Earth’s temperature did not affect it. The triangles are meant to represent the glacier while the squares represent snow. I also added a snow effect to the trees and ice in the lake below to further the environmental impact of this change, because the issue of glacier melt is so prevalent and its harsh impacts point to drastic changes that we will experience in our lifetimes if we do not act against this.
