This piece is a representation of the issue of male privilege and the mistreatment and objectification of women by these men in the US government. This is extremely frustrating and heartbreaking for me as a woman living in the US, especially since the overturning of Roe V Wade.
In this 14-second animated short, I wanted to depict how our generation’s daily annoyances are exacerbated by the constant flow of historical events shown to us because of the internet and how it leads to coping mechanisms that aren’t necessarily healthy, like ignoring the stress or using substances to avoid life happenings.
