About four years ago, my aunt commissioned this silly painting of our dog, Rocket, as a general as a family Christmas present. She figured his time was just about up, but he had two more years of being a blind diabetic dog in him. To describe his life as short as I can, he was the perfect dog. Almost two years ago to the day, January 9th, 2023, we finally had to put him down because he simply was too old and sick. The hand symbol I’m making is a combination of the letters I, L, and Y in sign language. “I love you.”
