I have always felt connected to owls as a species, they have this outside aura of wisdom, but they are so much deeper than that, they are goofy creatures, they display a dichotomy. I included runic protection seals as well as the Jewish evil eye symbol of protection. I feel protected by the owl, it is a creature that is fierce yet kind, gentle yet intimidating.
